BTS’ Jin Reveals His First Solo World Tour: #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR
Jin from the popular boy group BTS is heading out on solo activities for the first time. The group’s vocalist officially announced it last Friday with the tour title, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR. Beginning in June 2025, the Jin Solo World Tour 2025 will span nine cities across Asia, North America, and Europe. The oldest member’s debut solo world tour marks a milestone moment in his post-military musical chapter.
The tour opens with two nights in Goyang, South Korea, a fitting homecoming for Kim Seok-jin, who returned from military service earlier this year. The announcement comes just one month ahead of Jin’s second solo album, Echo, which they will release on May 16. Fans can expect the shows to spotlight activities from Jin while highlighting his growth as a solo artist.
Jin’s tour title, #RUNSEOKJIN_EP.TOUR creatively references his full name and personal identity. It also hints at a narrative journey that ties directly into the themes of his new music. Each city on the itinerary will host two back-to-back nights of performances. This effort gives ARMYs a rare opportunity to get a more immersive concert with the beloved BTS member.
After wrapping up the concert in South Korea, the tour will travel to North America in mid-July. The first U.S. stop will be at the Honda Center in Anaheim, California, on July 17 and 18. From there, Jin will head to Dallas, Texas, where he’ll perform at the American Airlines Center on July 22 and 23. The tour then moves southeast to Tampa, Florida, for shows on July 26 and 27 at the Amalie Arena, followed by two final U.S. nights at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey, on July 30 and 31.
Europe is also on the schedule, with Jin arriving in London for a pair of shows at The O2 on August 5 and 6. The Jin Solo World Tour 2025 will officially wrap in Amsterdam with two closing performances at the Ziggo Dome on August 9 and 10.
The tour serves as the live introduction to Echo, which Jin has described as a deeply personal album reflecting on universal life experiences, emotions, and connections. Sonically, the album leans into live band energy, with arrangements designed to translate powerfully on stage. According to early press materials, Echo will showcase the full range of Jin’s vocals, emphasizing his storytelling style and musical versatility.
This new release follows Jin’s 2024 debut solo album, Happy, which marked his first significant step away from BTS’s group activities. Notably, Jin was the final member of BTS to release a solo LP, making his solo trajectory one of the most anticipated by ARMY. With Echo and the world tour now on the horizon, Jin is carving out his space in the global music landscape.
After the announcement, fans across the globe have already taken to social media to express their excitement. It’s undeniable that this concert will be the first time the ARMY will see Jin perform solo, live, and in his element.
