Doja Cat, ROSÉ, and More A-List Artists Starring The ‘F1 The Album’ Soundtrack
On May 1, 2025, Atlantic Records finally unveiled the complete artist lineup for F1 THE ALBUM. The aforementioned album is the official soundtrack to Apple Original Films’ highly anticipated F1 movie. The Hollywood movie starring Brad Pitt hits theaters worldwide on June 27, 2025. The F1 THE ALBUM features original tracks from some of the biggest names in music, including Ed Sheeran, Doja Cat, ROSÉ of BLACKPINK, and RAYE.
The soundtrack campaign kicked off on April 30 with “Lose My Mind,” a bold new single from Don Toliver featuring Doja Cat. The high-energy track also arrived with a stylish music video that sets the tone for what fans can expect from this adrenaline-fueled collection.
Other standout contributions include Ed Sheeran’s “Drive,” ROSÉ’s fresh solo track “Messy,” and RAYE’s creatively titled “Grandma Calls The Boys Bad News.” The project also includes new music from Tate McRae, Burna Boy, Roddy Ricch, Chris Stapleton, Madison Beer, and more. Concerning the background of the movie, the Top Gun: Maverick director Joseph Kosinski directed the movie and produced y Jerry Bruckheimer and Formula 1 legend Lewis Hamilton. The F1 Movie stars Brad Pitt as Sonny Hayes, who is a veteran driver making a dramatic return to the sport. Damson Idris plays rookie Joshua Pearce, and together they drive for the fictional APXGP team. Shot during real-life Formula 1 race weekends, the film aims for authenticity and high-stakes excitement.
F1 THE ALBUM is being released under the guidance of Kevin Weaver, Atlantic Records’ West Coast President. He was also a GRAMMY-winning producer known for overseeing major soundtracks like Barbie The Album and The Greatest Showman. Brandon Davis and Joseph Khoury of Atlantic Records also played key roles in the album’s production. On the other hand, Kosinski and Bruckheimer serve as executive producers.
In celebration of the album’s launch, an exclusive VIP activation is running during the Miami Grand Prix weekend. The immersive experience is set inside a replica of the APXGP garage, offering racing simulators, film memorabilia, interactive games, and a first listen to the soundtrack. Artist portraits are displayed above their designated “team garages,” playfully linking them to various F1 teams.
F1 THE ALBUM is available for pre-order now and will be released in stores and on all major digital platforms on June 27. It was also the same day the F1 film races into theaters around the globe.
