GTA 6 drops electrifying new trailer after shock delay to 2026
Vice City’s back! But not as soon as we hoped. Just when fans were revving their engines and prepping their heist teams for Fall 2025, Rockstar Games did a plot twist worthy of a GTA mission. And, it’s a full-course meal.
The second trailer for GTA 6, the long-awaited successor to 2013’s blockbuster GTA V, is finally giving us more than just gators and Florida memes. We’re talking plot, characters, and graphics so crisp you’ll want to lick your screen (please don’t, OLED is pricey). The storyline takes us back to Vice City, but this time, with a modern-day spin that screams chaos, crime, and neon-colored drama.
Jason and Lucia. Our new criminal couple trying to make it big in the not-so-sunny side of Leonida, Rockstar’s fictional take on Florida. Think Bonnie and Clyde, but with better Wi-Fi and way more TikTok-worthy explosions.
Jason, an ex-Army man turned Keys hustler, is trying to outrun his past. Lucia, freshly paroled and not here to play games (except, you know, the literal game), is out to grab the American Dream by its overpriced Miami real estate.

Sounds like a telenovela, no? All that’s missing is a cheating subplot and a slap.
This trailer isn’t just vibes, it’s visual violence in the best way. Captured on PS5, the graphics are next-level, borderline photorealistic. Sun-soaked beaches, back-alley deals, strip club empires, music moguls, and conspiracy threads that would make your tita scream “Oh, illuminati!” And yes, the ever-iconic Vice City skyline is back, baby, now in glorious 4K.
Let’s talk numbers. The first trailer back in December 2023 made waves, with 90 million views in 24 hours. The second trailer? Too early to say, but with the amount of thirst online, expect another record-breaking spectacle. Rockstar clearly knows their fanbase, give us a trailer now, delay the game later, and we’ll still throw money at them like Boobie Ike at his own strip club.
Oh, and about that money, there’s talk that GTA 6 might hit $100 at launch. Yes, that’s triple digits. For one game. But let’s be honest, are we really not going to buy it?
The supporting cast is just as unhinged and unforgettable. And the setting? Beyond Vice City, we’re going deep into the weird swamplands of Grassrivers, the faded glamour of Port Gellhorn, and even the sugar refinery politics of Ambrosia. Only Rockstar could turn a place named after dessert into a capitalist crime den.
The delay might sting, but this trailer is proof that GTA 6 is shaping up to be Rockstar’s boldest, brightest, and baddest title yet. So mark your calendars for May 2026, stock up on energy drinks, and start practicing your getaway-driving skills.
